Makeup has always been her life; it was something that found her rather than her finding it. For Trish Rawlins her makeup journey started over 20 years ago, when she was having fun entering beauty competitions.

Whilst working as a model at a charity fashion show, she was invited to do the makeup for the event as the booked makeup artist did not show, and that was it, she was hooked. As much as she enjoyed her modelling she had found a passion in the makeup artistry and then her journey began.

After qualifying she became a beauty consultant for Amway and Body Shop, but her desire was to be freelance. Her work has been seen in numerous national publications. She has also been interviewed by local and national radio stations. Trish has also been involved in Family & Children’s Projects. She is also involved in teaching cancer patients how to come to terms with facial disfigurements, discolouration of the skin and showing them how to recreate eyebrows that have been lost through chemotherapy. She has been invited in as a guest speaker for the Swindon Trauma and the Domestic Violence Groups.

With the experience that she has gained she is now teaching, and sharing her skills. She holds several makeup workshops in the local Colleges and is also teaching a makeup course on Makeup for Black & Asian skin tones at the local College. She also teaches beauty within and empowerment.

Within her time in the beauty industry she has worked with some amazing photographers, and takes pride in working with brides to make them look a million dollars on their special day.

Her work has been recognised and she was nominated and then short listed for the Hair & Makeup Artist through The Bridal Magazine Suppliers Award 2011, another nomination came from the Wedding Industry Awards 13 and a winner for the Wedding Experts Award 2013.
